*BADMINTON ASIA CHAMPIONSHIPS
*BADMINTON ASIA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Putting that aside more than 20 teams received live telecast of the Badminton Asia Tong Yun Kai Cup 2017 - which is further boost to the game and mileage to the sponsors.
It was also in 2017 that Badminton Asia signed an MOU with AIPS - which is the governing body of Sports Journalists in Asia - to form a partnership to promote badminton in Asia via more exposure through print and social media.
"It is encouraging to note that lesser known badminton playing countries are playing the game, especially at grassroots. This is one way of developing badminton in these countries," added Kenny.
