SEA Games which is also known as Southeast Asian Games, is a biennial multi-sport event involving participants from the current 11 countries of Southeast Asia. This year (2017), Malaysia has been nominated as the Host of 29th SEA Games, this multi sport event will be held from 19th to 31st August in the city of Kuala Lumpur.

In the SEA Games Draw Ceremony hosted by the Organising Committee of the 29th SEA Games 2017 (MASOC).
Badminton Asia had conducted the Draws for both Badminton Men's and Women's Team Events in the Grand Ballroom A of Renaissance Hotel located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and the draw was witnessed by the representatives from Badminton Asia, MASOC, International and Asian sports federations, national sports federations/ associations, officials from the respective embassies and members of the media.
