“BASE Reaches Central Asia”

Our grassroots program has started expanding the roots in Central Asia. The recent deliveries of the BASE Project equipments to our member associations delegate in the Asian Junior Championships have reached Central Asia with Uzbekistan Badminton Federation doing the honours. The equipments were delivered successfully to school 208, 51 and 110, kicking off a year round badminton development activity in the respective schools. Among other Central Asia members that have received the BASE Project equipments are Kazakhstan and Mongolia. Badminton Asia Confederation has lined up many specific development events in Central Asia this year after a successful pilot model program in West Asia in 2009.
